This past weekend I went shopping with the BF to get fall clothes for the little one, and of course a little something for ourselves. We literally where at the mall for about 6 hours! I have been lusting for a Marc by Marc Jacobs bag for a longgggg time now and while at Nordstorm shopping for my little sis birthday gift I decided to get it. I also got some Jeffrey Campbell black flats that were on sale. I desperately needed a new pair of flats for work!

Earlier that week I noticed that Lord and Taylor had the watch that I have been eyeing on sale, I thought about it and was like what the heck let me get it.

Well, I think I did enough shopping for awhile...yea right! How was your past weekend?

Product Rave: Garnier Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel Cream

  • Very affordable
  • You get a lot of product in a weighty glass jar
  • Easy to smooth on
  • Refreshing, cooling sensation
  • Moisturizes skin instantly
  • Absorbs quickly and doesn't oil up
  • Keeps skin feeling hydrated, soft, & smooth
  • Works fine under makeup

  • Some people might not like that it's in jar
  • The cooling sensation might be a little strong for some people

Overall, I love this stuff! It leaves a very light feeling on your skin and absorbs fairly quickly. I found this to be comparable to the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel, but with a more reasonable price tag. My skin doesn't feel as oily through out the day as it would with regular oil-free moisturizers. I think this is great for use during the summer season, but I know this will be my year round product. In fact you can go here and print $1 off coupon.

Swimsuits for All

It's the beginning of summer as like every one else I am excited to take the lil munchkin to the beach and the pool this season. I have been on shopping around to see if I find a perfect, yet flattering bathing suit since I am a full figured girl. I ran into this site called Swimsuitsforall while on a bloggers page, it  offers swimwear and related apparel & accessories that work for real women sizes 8 & up.  It's been about 2-3 years since I have bought a bathing suit and I wanted to get a one piece that would be somewhat slimming and flattering at the same time and wanted to take advantage that the site was having an extra 20% off on already reduced swimwear.

This is what I ended up getting....

Blue Sarong Front Swimsuit by Penbrooke

After shipping and the percentage taken off the total was $29, which wasn't bad at all! It was shipped via USPS and arrived about 4 days after shipping. To tell you the truth I was surprised at how cute the bathing suit actually looked on. I was so happy with my purchase that I know I am going to get another one, since I received a postcard that said that on July 4 there will be a huge sale. Have you shopped at Swimsuitsforall yet?

Long time no write...lol! I know I haven't been in much of a bloggin mood, but I decided to write a little something.

So, there is this site called Jewelmint it's desinger jewelry from stylist Cher Coulter and actress Kate Bosworth, in other words like Shoedazzle but instead of shoes you get jewelry.
This is how it works, you take their Style Quiz then you are sent personalized selections based on the quiz and each piece is available to you for $29.99.

(FYI: This piece was not sent to me I paid for it)

My selections were ok, I kinda wished I got the pieces that I saw on their FB profile.
Since, I used a promo code (Mav5) which gives you 50% off of your 1st purchase I was ok
with my selection.

Beachwood Necklace

I picked this because it was something I didn't have and that I have never seen.
It's like a casual piece you can wear with jeans and any color top.
Also, it's silver plated on an 18'inch beaded adjustable chain. I can't wait to see
what selections I get next month.

Have you joined Jewelmint?

New Skin Regimen

I don't know what is up with my skin lately, but it's just not cooperating with anything that I have tried. I was at my mom's job a few weeks ago and she was complaining about how my face looks so awful, (mom's always gotta say the right thing...lol) so she recommended this Acne Rescue Kit. I was skeptical and asked her if this was worth buying and of course she said yes, so I took her word for it. It's been about 3 weeks and it has really helped my skin dramatically. I really have seen a difference, less breakouts and it doesn't leave my skin super dry. The only con that this might have for some people is that it has a strong smell, due to the essential oils it contains. Natralia Acne Rescue Kit can be found at any Health Food Store and usually retails for $19.99.
